If you're someone who feels frustrated when you hear "get your daily exercise in," I have some good news for you. The key to a healthy mind and body is just movement and there's very little that needs to be involved!


Throw out your notion of exercise only being worth it if you meet a minimum requirement. You don't need to run 5 miles a day to feel the benefits of daily movement.


Here are 5 easy ways to incorporate movement into your everyday life:


  1. Start every morning with a 10 minute walk.

  2. On a call? Use that time to walk around the house.

  3. Set an alarm and stand up once every hour.

  4. Do 10 squats before and after your lunch break

  5. Take 5-10 minutes while watching TV and do some light stretching.

Small changes done consistently can add up to BIG differences. And the best part? You can do all of these from the comfort of your own home or work without even changing into workout clothes.
