Your Habits Are NOT a Joke

Happy Springtime!
Wow! We're halfway through April already and Springtime has begun!
While I do like to have fun, I’m not much of a practical joker, so I’m just going to cut to the chase.
Your habits are not a joke – your habits create your life.
Your life is a direct reflection of the habits you choose every single day.
How’d the last 3 months feel? Are you satisfied with the progress you made toward your goals? Did you move through your days with intention and purpose?
If the answers to those questions weren’t something along the line of Great! Yes! And YES! – then there is some work to be done.
And let’s be clear…there’s ALWAYS work to be done. That’s LIFE, and isn’t that a beautiful thing that we are still HERE able to DO the work!
Perhaps ask yourself WHY.
Why didn’t the last 3 months go as well as I hoped? Why didn’t I make good progress toward my goals? Why am I living reactively?
Sometimes we need to uncover our WHY to truly take action and do something about it.
Keep asking and peel back those layers, get to the nitty gritty uncomfortable stuff, where you can dig in and turn on the transformation.
Once you brain-dump all the stuff on paper – you can call your own BS if necessary and make a game plan for how to create some different habits.
Because now that you KNOW why you’re not living your life as you truly could… you can choose to do better moving forward. Once you know better, it’s easier to do better.
My suggestion >> Start SIMPLE and keep it CONSISTENT.
Pick 1 habit that you KNOW will help move the needle for your goals and dreams and challenge yourself to stick with it every single day this week. Is it no snooze button? Is it an earlier bedtime? Is it no phones after 8pm? Is it more veggies? More water?
And then repeat – go for the whole month, maybe add in a few more as you go along.
My pro-tip >> It starts with your morning routine (regardless of when you choose to get up in the morning).
Make the commitment to yourself that you’re going to take things up a notch as we head into a new month. The spring energy is here!
